Hanamaruken Ramen | Alabang Town Center

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who loves Japanese food, most of us do but unlike others, I was not a fan of Ramen. I'm not having its craze. Like what's so special about Ramen anyway. Then I had my first 'genuine' Ramen from Hanamaruken Ramen. I've come to understand why it became so popular.

Hanamaruken Ramen originated from Osaka, Japan in 1982, now with over 40 branches. They take pride of their Signature dish "Happiness Ramen", a Tonkotsu-Shoyu based soup ramen topped with a slab of slow-braised tender pork rib. They've decided to come to the Philippine shores sometime in 2014.

When my boyfriend suggested eating at Hanamaruken Ramen for the first time. I was skeptical. I thought I wouldn't like what will be served on the table. Boy, was I wrong! Their ramen made me appreciate and love ramen. The taste was so special and unique.

I'm so glad we went back for the second time. Since what I ordered during our first time wasn't their specialty. So when we came back we ordered their Signature Happiness Ramen.

Hanamaruken Ramen doesn't have as many options to choose from unlike most Japanese restaurants with pages and pages on their menu. This restaurant is Ramen-centric (if there's even a term like that) with a few rice bowls and other dish options.

We ordered extra noodles to make the most out of our ramen, according to boyfie. It was a wrong move though, the serving of the happiness ramen is already enough for the both of us. We struggled to finish everything. Even though it looks like we don't have much on our table but their serving is big.

Hanamaruken Ramen is definitely a place me and my tummy enjoyed. The place looks so nice, making it very comfortable to eat in. I wouldn't mind eating here every day but that would mean breaking the bank. The price of the food here is above the average price of ramen. (a.k.a above the average price of my wallet. Mahal bes.) Well, that's because the ramen they serve tastes average too. Haha.

Anyway, I recommend you guys try Hanamruken Ramen. I'm no Ramen expert but I believe you guys will have a delicious time here like I did.
