Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2014: Day 3

image

Last Saturday, May 31 I was able to attend Philippine Fashion Week. Thanks to the company I work for, Clozette and to Cristina, our marketing manager.

It was a great opportunity to watch the show, and see the designs of local fashion designers. How I envy and wish to be a fashion designer.

My weapon of choice to cover the event was my Olympus EPL-5. I had two regrets that day. Go over my snapshots and finish my post to know what my regrets were. (Warning: Long post but worth it)

Okay so I was trying and trying to get decent photos. Switching over my camera and my iphone to see which will give me a better shot but neither did. So I was about to give up. T_T It was so frustrating.

But I did not give up! I tried to change the mode settings in my camera and viola!~

I was into taking pictures of Cheng I missed Katarina, AsnTM Finalist.

The only picture I got of Katarina that looks decent came out blurred. Anyway, that's her! Haha.

At this point my camera was already running out of battery.

That's a wrap for the 12:30 show and also that's the end of my camera battery life. The two things I regret is first, I wish I had known my camera well and had taken better shots at the beginning of the show, second, I wish I charged my cam's battery or I had an extra battery. Oh well, lesson learned! Atleast I didn't have to edit more photos and create another post for the 3:30 PM show.

The design showcase from the 3:30 PM show were fantastic as well. It was a lost opportunity to take photos but never a lost opportunity for experience.

After the 3:30 PM show which ended past 5 I met up with Patrick to watch X-Men but all tickets for 7PM & 8PM were sold out and we didn't want to stay out late. So we watched Maleficent instead.

I didn't upload my #ootd because I wanted a nice photo but If you want to see what I wore to the event you can check my instagram account: @micabdeleon
